Retired ambassadors called members of U.S. Congress to be fair and not to recognize the "genocide" resolution which rewrites historical events falsely. The letter that signed by retired Turkish ambassadors proved with documents from U.S. archives that the arguments in the resolution are nothing more than partisan allegations. In letter ambassadors warned that recognition of so called Armenian genocide resolution will damage Turkish-American ties. Ambassadors told that Armenians cooperated with English, Russian and French armies who invaded Ottoman Empire, and the evidences of these are not only in Turkish archives but exist in American, English and Russian documents.

Stating that lack of logistical supply and guards during deportation resulted with tragic events, Ambassadors said, "But there is no evidence that deportation was made with this intention. Contrarily, the ones who found guilty about the events during the process of deportation was warned and penalized. Under the light of these evidences, the allegation of "genocide" is groundless."
