The organization calls on everyone to sent letters of support and gratitude to the governor due to declaration of March 31 as Day of Memory of Azerbaijanis in memory of tens of thousands of Azerbaijani civilians in the result of actions of Armenians in March of 1918,
Earlier the Armenian national committee of Nevada called on governor Gibbons to annul his decision.
"This has become the first case in history when the genocide of Azerbaijani people was officially marked not only by a high-ranking official of the United States, but also somewhere beyond Azerbaijan", says the USAN directors board.
This astonished and shocked the Armenian lobby and the propaganda that is currently launching campaign on posing pressure on Nevada governor for this decision to be annulled. The Armenian lobby made hundreds of telephone calls and sent a number of letters to the office, according to the directors' board.
The USAN Directors Board urges not to be silent and write to the office of the governor that they did it right to declare the Day of Memory of Azerbaijanis. A form of letter that also expresses readiness to assist to the governor and "respond to everything, each and any accusations regarding March 31 of 1918" is also proposed.
