The Armenian president said in the interview to Vesti programme, dating to the anniversary of inauguration, the last year was a year of great changes in the world, the region and Armenia.
According to Sargsyan, there appeared a number of serious and new problems and challenges that require new approaches.
The most important, considers the president that "we have managed to deepen ties with friends and partners of Armenia. We have launched a dialogue with Turkey, intensified the negotiation process on Nagorno Karabakh, formed a number of big infrastructural projects to change the geoeconomics of our region.
I think that we have managed to introduce new elements into the political life of our country: we started to consult regularly with off-parliamentary parties and we will soon complete the creation of a public chamber that will lead to consolidation of the civil society".
