"During the recent telephone call between Barack Obama and Ilham Aliyev, the US president noted that improvement of ties between Turkey and Armenia might assist to establishment of peace and stability in the region", noted she.
According to the US diplomat, during the talk the sides stressed importance of developing bilateral US-Azerbaijani relations and voiced hope for the soonest resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
