IRANIAN ANALYST: "RUSSIA'S OPINION IS IMPORTANT FOR ISSUE OF BORDERS"

ImageThe professor, who attended the international conference in Moscow titled "Russia-Iran cooperation in the Caspian basin: regional and global levels of cooperation", said that Iran was interested in establishing of peace in the Caucasus. "The action of Caucasian peoples to secure peace and stability in the region is their domestic problem". The Iranian analyst said not only Turkey's and Armenia's, but Russia's opinion was also important for the issue of borders. "Unfortunately Iran was not involved in these discussions. It creates difficulties to express opinion about the issue. Iran gives high value to its relations with Turkey and sincerely intends for peace and stability in the region".
