Yerevan representative of Dashnaktsutyun Party Vaan Ovanisyan said, "In our opinion, the disagreement between Ankara and Baku over the possibility of opening of borders between Turkey and Armenia is a part of a collusion. The reaction of Azerbaijan is planned in detail with Turkish officials. It is also planned that soon there will be protest demonstrations in Turkey against opening of borders. Turkey is a country that noone can move without permission."

One of the opposition deputies in Armenian Parliament Stepan Safaryan said that the secret diplomacy process between Turkey and Armenia should be continued openly from now on. Speaking during session of parliament, Sarafyan said, "Secret talks between Turkey and Armenia started to produce damage instead of benefit starting the point we are on. Secret talks causes false and unnecessary excitement and stress in the public. From now on talks should be continued openly."
