Reminding that Armenia continues occupation of Karabakh, Kaya said the following: "By its occupational policy Armenia violates international law and poses a threat to peace and security in the Caucasus".

"We will not open borders between the two states or establish diplomatic relations with Yerevan unless Armenia stops its hostile policy and releases the Azerbaijani lands. Otherwise, this policy will not be supported by the Turkish people. I would like to note that the friendship and brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan are inviolable and will continue forever", noted Kaya.

He also said that he will visit Azerbaijan today by invitation of some political and civil organizations.
