AXA STARTED PAYING 1915 EVENTS ERA RESTITUTIONS

Heirs of Armenian people had sued AXA in California, US and insurance company was sentenced to pay $17,5 millions of restitution to the heirs of insurance policy holder Armenians.

Vartges Yeghiayan and Attorneys Group announced that payments for restitutions will be started in three months.

Stating that the portal that lists the insurance policy holders closed in January last year and applications started to be evaluated, attorneys group said that the total number of applications is 13,750.

Lastly, about 10,000 Armenian living in U.S. sued English insurance company AVIVA for damages. Armenians claimed millions of dollars from AVIVA as heirs of insurance policy holders of Armenians died during 1915 events.
