CLINTON: "WE BACK TURKEY-ARMENIA NORMALIZATION"

Adressing the Congress, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that Turkey and Armenia making steps towards agreement with their painful history and said that the steps towards opening the closed border and normalization of relations will form a beter field for facing with history. Stating that Ankara and Yerevan asked for the support of United States, Clinton said that they found courage on the steps made and said that President Barack Obama and herself back the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia.

U.S. Foreign Minister said that they assured Azerbaijani government that they will intensify efforts for resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Replying a question about opening of Halki Seminary, U.S. Official said that they are paying attention to that issue.
