
As Armenian lobby goes on with its allegations of genocide all over the World, Armenian people living in Turkey reacted to this developments. Living in the Kapakli village of Taskopru, Kastamonu since 300 years with their Turkish neighbours, Turkish Armenians denies the allegations of "genocide". Living in Kapakli village since he was born, Armenian citizen 53 year old Ahmet Kazeroglu said that he changed his name "Asadur" to "Ahmet" and became Muslim 5 years ago. Kazeroglu said that his ancestors immigrated to Taskopru from Kars 300 years ago and they lived here in peace since that time.
Residents of only Armenian village in Turkey, Vakifli village of Samandag, Hatay agree with this. Village headman Berch Kartun said, "We remain 35 family here. We live religious festivals with muslims together. The allegations of genocide disturb us. It is enough for us if Europe and U.S. could succeed to not put a shade on this."
Telling after he lived till his 42 in Kapakli village of Taskopru, Kastamonu, he went to Istanbul to work and returned to his village after he retired, 61 years old Karabet Cam said that he did not hear even a word about genocide from his ancestors. Karabet Cam said, "Our ancestors lived here in peace since centuries, we too. May Allah bless our country."
