Petrosyan claimed that Turkey cheated Armenian administration and said, "Turkey, cheated Armenia".
Former President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan claimed that Turkey cheated Armenian administration and said, "Turkey, cheated Armenia‘. Former President, current opposition leader Ter Petrosyan said that official Ankara prevented U.S. administration to use the word ’genocide" by political steps it made.
Ter-Petrosyan said that they have been warning Armenian administration since they started talks with Ankara, and said, "We have warned them telling that Ankara would not make any step before the resulotion of Nagorno Karabakh problem."
He said, "Unfortunately Sarksyan administration preassumed that establishment of diplomatical relations and opening of borders could be independent of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Following that, they made a terrible mistake and gave a green light for estabishment of a joint historians committee towards searching history".
