
A resolution that forbids carrying business with Turkish companies rejected in California. Passage of the resolution is prevented by the help of history knowledge of Turkish people.
Proposing a change in the California public procurement law due to 1915 events, and a resolution that would put American companies carrying business with Turkish companies in a difficult position, is rejected in the State Parliament of California. The resolution that would create serious trouble for Turkish community in California both in curidical and commercial contexts, passed from State Parliament Job and Profession Committee and then Justice Committee in April 22. The rejection of the resolution is the result of efforts of a group of Turkish people.
It is stated that a group of Turkish people presented reliable and important documents to the Parliamentarians who were about to approve the resolution. Disappointing by the rejection of the law, Armenan diaspora stated that they will initiate a new campaign.
