Barack Obama’s administration is determined to promote the soonest resolution of the Karabakh conflict, said US ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.
“The United States always cooperated with Azerbaijan in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. Mr.Obama voiced his personal intention to attain success and resolution of the Karabakh conflict,” said Derse.
She noted that while speaking to president Ilham Aliyev the US president voiced Washington’s readiness to find possible soonest resolution to the Karabakh conflict.
“State secretary Hillary Clinton while speaking to I.Aliyev also voiced her personal intentions. This is a demonstration of the US interest in finding solution to the Karabakh conflict. We will continue the activity both in cooperation with partners of the OSCE Minsk Group and other partners on the international arena in the direction of the conflict settlement,” noted the US ambassador.
