"THE BALL IS AT TURKEY'S FIELD NOW"

Replying the questions of reporters over the meeting held between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan in St. Petersburg, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said that the St. Petersburg meeting of President has nothing to do with the "roadmap" agreement between Turkey and Armenia.

Nalbandian said that the relations between Turkey and Armenia is continued in a different plane. He said, "The ball is at Turkey?s field now."

Stating that the rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia is not dependent to any precondition, Nalbandian said that he is hopeful about the process of normalization between Turkey and Armenia.
