Head of Nationalist Movement Party Devlet Bahceli mentioned economical precaution package that is announced by Prime Minister Erdogan. Opposition leader called for attention that Prime Minister Erdogan mentioned political demands that IMF made for another agreement over joint economic program with IMF support.

Devlet Bahceli said that Erdogan should announce what were the political demands of IMF and said that he should do that because it became a political honour and conscience issue.

Bahceli said, “For example did they ask for opening of Armenian border? Were there any pressure about the issue that is called „Kurdish problem“? Did they urge for imporvement of relations with Northern Iraq?”

He said, “If really IMF had political demands that conflicts with national interests of our country, and if Justice and Development Party government resisted that, we will be on the same position with this political will and we will support.

In this respect, i call Prime Minister Erdogan to announce what were the political demands of IMF that caused government to reject signing a new economic program with IMF.“
