ARMENIA REFUTES REPORTS THAT CLAIM ARMENIA AIDS PKK

Cental Bank of Armenia refuted the report of Sabah newspaper which claimed that Armenia and Greek popoluated Southern Cyprus annually makes 1 billion dollars of financial aid to PKK terrorist organization. The report that Turkish Sabah newspaper refering to the info from National Security Organization wrote that the Banks in Armenia and Southern Cyprus transfers 1 billion American Dolar to PKK every year. Report refuted by Central Bank of Armenia.

Public relations committee of Central Bank of Armenia announced that the reports of Sabah newspaper are not true. The statement made by the Committee said that the report is fabrication and is not related with the truths.

Committee stated that Armenia has an operational and effective system for fighting against financing of terrorism and money laundering. Stating that Armenia cooperates with international organizations while fighting against these crimes, Public Relations Committee of Central Bank of Armenia said that such issue never came to agenda before.
