Armenian political scientist, director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan does not consider the simultaneous participation of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Nabucco project possible.

“I can hardly imagine the project which would involve both Armenia and Azerbaijan. I cannot imagine that any pipe can pass directly from Azerbaijan to Armenia or something could pass via Georgia from Azerbaijan to Armenia. I can hardly imagine this too,” said Iskandaryan at a press conference on Friday.

He said anything could happen within 20 years, but currently it is difficult to imagine two enemy-states, involved into any project together.
