Distortion of historical and cultural monuments in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan became topic of a book.

Prepared by the organization of “Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments in Occupied Azerbaijani Lands,” the new book contains pictures and documents that tells about the distortion of cultural and historical monuments in the lands of Azerbaijan that is kept under occupation since nearly two decades.

The photos in the book shows Armenians put christianic sybmols over antic Albanian graves and the book blames Armenia about trying to prove that Nagorno Karabakh is a historical Armenian land. Book points that Armenians keep erasing the tracks of Azerbaijani heritage and ruin mosques and cultural buildings. It states that efforts for “Armenization” of the region is being

Book records that 86,000 meter square of Azerbaijani land is reformed and Armenized. It stated that there was not even one Armenian church in Nagorno Karabakh before 19th century and first of them was built after Russian invasion.

Book shows that Armenians distorted Albanian administrator Hasan Celal’s grave, changed its name into Celalyan and put a cross on the grave.

Lately 15 churches are built on the occupied lands. Armenians’ efforts for distortion of Azerbaijani heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh is mentioned in many Russian historians’ books and also state archives.
