ALIYEV: "WAR IS NOT OVER YET"

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that the war is not over for Azerbaijan and struggle will go on.

Holding a press conference, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev explained the raise in the military budget and reasons for the increase. Reminding that Azerbaijan increases its military budget every year, Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan spent 6,5 billion dollars in last five years for military expenses. He said that Azerbaijan spent 2 billion dollars in 2009 and that amount will keep increasing by time.

Stating that they founded Defence Industry Ministry, Aliyev said that they opened 19 factory that is connected to the ministry and they produced 400 different defence industry vehicle. Stating that military exercise shows determination of Azerbaijani army, Aliyev said, “Our territorial integrity was interfered. Our land is being kept under occupation since years. We are towards resolution of problem by peaceful ways but negotiations does not give any result for 15 years. Thus, in this circumstances we have to rely on the force of our army. Our army is strong enough for this duty to be accomplished.”
