The most critical issue of the talks that Davutoglu held with Russian officials, developments in Caucasus are not progressing in the way Ankara expects. Russia and Azerbaijansigned an agreement that will bury the Nabucco project which Turkey and Europe worked on since years.

According to the agreement between Russia and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan will sell whole natural gas that is provided from Shahdeniz-2 area to Russian company Gazprom. Ankara tries to understand the agreement in detail and same time the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.
