FINAL STAGE IN KARABAKH NEGOTIATIONS

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Armenians will withdraw from Zengilan, Qubatly, Fuzuli, Cebrail and Agdam as fast as parties sign agreement.

Details of the negotiations for resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict started to get clear. Azerbaijani President told the topics that Azerbaijani and Armenian parties reached agreement on.

Aliyev stated that Armenian forces will immediately withdraw from 5 regions and will withdraw from Lachin and Kelbecer within 5 years as Azerbaijan and Armenia reaches agreement.

Baku and Azerbaijan negotiating for resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the mediation of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) since 15 years.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev evaluated recent situation in the negotiations to Russian State Television.

According to the statements of Aliyev,

* Armenian forces will leave Zengilan, Qubatly, Fuzuli, Cebrail and Agdam immediately as Azerbaijan and Armenia reaches an agreement.

* Armenian forces will withdraw from Lachin and Kelbecer regions within five years, as these regions connects Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.

* Refugees will return to their homes.

President Aliyev stressed that issue of determination of Nagorno-Karabakh’s status is not among the issues that parties reached an agreement on.

Aliyev said that security of Azerbaijani Turks should be provided by international forces after they return to their homeland, Nagorno-Karabakh.
