There is no document which confirms that the events of 1915 were genocide, Turkish Prime Minister Rajab Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with the Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera,” said CNN Turk reported.

“There is no document that confirms that the events of 1915 were genocide. Despite that Armenians insist on the recognition of genocide, about 40,000 Armenians live in Turkey,” said Erdogan.
