Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be discussed at the G8 summit in Italy on July 8—10, aide to Russian President Arkadiy Dvorkovich told APA correspondent in Moscow.

He said G8 leaders would discuss within the consultations on various issues, including the work done within the OSCE Minsk Group.

Dvorkovich said there was a progress in the solution to the conflict and Russia hoped for more progresses in this issue. “We have friendly neighborhood relations with both Azerbaijan and Armenia.”

He said Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev's last visit to Azerbaijan was successful. “There is wide cooperation between our countries not only energy, but other fields as well. We believe that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's upcoming visit to Russia will also be successful.
