Members of the Heritage faction in Armenia, Stepan Safaryan and Larisa Alaverdyan today spoke about the Armenian-Turkish relations and the process of settlement of the Karabakh issue.

According to the Armenian opposition MPs, Armenia has failed in the Armenian-Turkish relations. As for the Karabakh issue, we have no clear-cut concept, they say.

According to Stepan Safaryan, Turkey sets preconditions in the road map. In particular, it states that “the Karabakh settlement and the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations are parallel processes.”

Armenian deputies are assured that realizing that the Armenian-Turkish relations will develop more intensively by October, Azerbaijan is trying to impose a pro-Azerbaijani solution to the Karabakh issue.

“It's high time to have a position on the conflict settlement,”Larisa Alaverdyan noted. According to her, Armenia and Karabakh have no concept of resolution of the conflict.
