Nazilli office of Association for Fighting Against Groundless Armenian Claims criticized the book “Anneannem” that is written by Fethiye Çetin.

Making a statement about the issue, vice-chairman of Association for Fighting Against Groundless Armenian Claims  I. Ugur Gul said, “We are criticizing the book „Anneannem“ that is written by lawyer Fethiye Çetin. Because there are statements that slanders and humiliates Turkish people in the book. Besides there are illogical mistakes. The scenarios like ’slitting the throats of men’ are being told by third person. All the memories in the book are being told by a third person and all of those ’memories’ are told after death of first degree witnesses, because there will not be any chance of rejection, alteration or correction. All of the memories are written in the form of a scenario. We are not accepting these and we are condemning that because they are not true stories.”

Stating that book illustrates Turkey as it is guilty, Gul said, “Continously revolting since 1880’s, committing inhuman atrocities during and after World War I, murdering several Turkish diplomats in 1970’s and lastly committing an inhuman atrocity in Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia accuses Turkish people with committing a genocide. Within 4000 years of their history, Turkish people approached to the nations under its rule fairly and had never committed such massacre. Armenians blame Turkish people because of the events that took place in recent history. They ignore massacre of 500,000 muslim in Anatolia between 1915 and 1920.
