Opposition parties and non-governmental organizations in Azerbaijan harshly criticizes establishment of dialogue with Armenia towards resolution of the problems between two countries.

Non-governmental organizations in Azerbaijan are deeply concerned about the dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The method of dialouge that is held by Turkey and Azerbaijan for seeking solutions for the problems between countries are not welcomed in Azerbaijan.

Focal spot of the criticisms is that establishment of dialouge is not true when you consider that Armenia is the country that keeps Azerbaijani land under occupation.

Visit of the delegation that consists of Azerbaijani and Armenian ambassadors to Moscow, deputies, artists, diplomats and representatives from non-governmental organizations to Armenia and Azerbaijan caused serious reactions in Azerbaijan.

Opposition parties and non-governmental organizations criticized the initiative of the delegation that had contacts both in Azerbaijan and Armenia. They also criticized Turkey over its process of normalization of relations with Armenia.

They stated that establishment of dialogue with an invader country is nothing else than betrayal totheir own country. Opposition parties stated that this attitude is only for the benefit of Armenia.

Azerbaijani media did not give enough space for the criticisms against efforts of the delegation of intellectuals for establishment of dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia, while they did not spare any effort to publish comments that criticize Turkey over its dialogue with Armenia.
