As Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan gets prepared for the Moscow meeting on July 17, so called Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh started to lift up its voice.

Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group co-chairs continuing their contacts in Baku and Yerevan in this context. American co-chair Matthew Bryza stated that he is hopeful of Moscow meeting of Presidents although he does not think Aliyev and Sarksyan will sign any document. He added that he believes Moscow meeting of Presidents will be more successful than St. Petersburg meeting.

Seperatist Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh had claimed their independence but the irony is that even Armenia does not recognize so called Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Leader of seperatists, alleged leader of self declared NKR, Bako Sahakyan claimed that an agreement over Nagorno-Karabakh is not possible unless they are not included in negotiations.

Giving an interview to Ria Novosti news agency, leader of so called NKR said, “We do not have information about the content of agreement that is being negotiated towards resolution of Karabakh conflict. There are rumours about the contect of the negotiations that are held between Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents. Those generally are not true. Everybody knows that it is not possible for realization of an agreement unless Nagorno-Karabakh is accepted as a party of negotiations. Lately, OSCE Minks Group stated that ’NKR’ should be participating negotiations for final decision over peace agreement to be made.”

Seperatist leader stated that they are towards peaceful resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict although they will respond Azerbaijan if they start a war.
