An Armenian magazine being published in United States criticized Prime Minister Erdogan’s genocide comments about the clashes in Uyghur region in China.
Prime Minister Erdogan had stated that events in East Turkistan is similar to a genocide. He called Chinese government to not to be a mere spectator to events in which more than 150 people died.
Armenian magazine agreed that the attitude of Chinese government against clashes in Uyghur region should be criticized. Although claimed that Erdogan’s comments of genocide is hypocrite. Ignoring massacres that are committed by Armenian gangs against Muslims in Eastern Anatolia, Armenian magazine stated that it is sure that more than 150 people had died in 1915 and Erdogan should have been calling 1915 events as genocide too.
The point that Armenian magazine misses is that, Ottoman administration did not let Armenians for going on with performing an ethnic cleansing in the region for establishment of an Armenian state in Eastern Anatolia. Contrarily, as Prime Minister Erdogan had stated, Chinese government is a mere spectator to the events in the region.
