Holding a press conference in Yerevan, one of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun officials Armen Rustamyan stated that they will press for resignation of Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan in case he signes an agreement that is based on Madrid principles. Stating that Madrid principles are dangerous for Armenia and self declared Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, Armen Rustamian said that the struggle they are holding will take a completely different nature if such document is signed.
Constructing whole of its policy over opposing Turkey and Armenia’s relations with Turkey, Dashnak Party of Armenia had resigned of all of its assignments in government to protest negotiations and agreements that Armenian government holds with Turkey. Dashnak Party is strong especially in France, Belgium, Switzerland, United States and Lebanon and struggles to pass resolutions recognizing so called Armenian genocide in the parliaments of different countries.
