FRANCE Council for Coordination of Armenian Federations (CCAF) and Council of Armenian Foundations in Marseille held a joint meeting and decided for uniting under the roof of CCAF. CCAF and CRAAM decided to unite for holding their campaigns against Turkey together. Dashnak Party representative Eliane Kazandjian, who is well known with his anti-Turkish attitude, is elected as the first chair of the organization.
According to the report published by the website of Dashnak party in France, making a speech after his election, Kazandjian thanked to the Armenian people who protested arrival of a Turkish boat to Marseille.
Stating that Turkey is the common enemy for Armenians, Kazandjian said that CCAF will be more efficient after the alliance.
There are about 100,000 Armenians in Marseille.
