ARMENIA RUINS FORESTS IN OCCUPIED LANDS

Azerbaijan claims that Armenians burned most of the forests in the occupied lands. Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources stated that Armenia destroyed natural sources in Agdam which they are keeping under occupation since July 23, 1993.

According to the report of Azerbaijani Press Agency (APA), Armenians destroyed even the trees in the regions that are under guard. According to the officials from Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry of Azerbaijan, there are trees that are listed among endangered species of trees. Officials stated that the three species in Agdam region are under guard. Armenian officials stated that Armenians also destroyed natural resources in Novruzlu, Yusufcanlı, Kengerli, Çelik, Karadağlı, Kengerlisi, Göytepe, Gülcülük villages in the Agdam. Agdam is under Armenian occupations since 16 years.

Armenia keeps 12 Azerbaijani cities under occupation within and around Upper Karabakh.
