“Armenian authorities seek to unite society and demonstrate that they have common enemy against which they should struggle together,” political expert Araz Alizade said while commenting on Armenian media reports about possible launch of hostilities in Azerbaijan's occupied lands.

“The first reason for such mood in Armenia is that Armenian society is very split today,” the political expert said.

“The second reason is that they try to create a excitement for the international community as if „miserable“ Armenian people can be subject to aggression. If Azerbaijan resorts to military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, it will not be aggression, but an attempt to return legal lands,” he said.

“The third reason is that they want to let it to know that if Armenia makes certain concessions to Azerbaijan, it will do it by force,” Alizade said.

“I believe it is impossible to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully. The only solution to the conflict is a war,” he said

“Armenians do not want war as they have seized from us what they wanted. So, they do not need a war,” Alizade said.
