According to a report in Armenian press the probability for Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan to pay a visit to Turkey is 100 percent.

One of the most efficient journals in Armenia, “Ayk” (Union) newspaper wrote that Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan will certainly visit Turkey on this October. According to the newspaper, Sarksyan will explain the reason for going to Turkey as “we are at the threshold of the removal of blockade of Armenia.”

Armenian press organ wrote that Sarksyan will hold a press conference before his trip to Bursa, where the return game between Turkish and Armenian national teams will be played, and will state, “We are ready to agree on Madrid principles that are prepared towards resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Now we are waiting for the next steps by Turkey and Azerbaijan.”

Pointing that the statements of Turkish State Minister Egemen Bagis during his trip to Van will be effective for the final decision of Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan’s visit to Turkey, Armenian newspaper wrote, “Statements of a Turkish official which implies that Akdamar museum may serve as an Armenian church, is welcomed in Armenia. That may be evaluated as the required conditions for the Turkey visit of President Sarksyan.”
