TOLERANCE CAMP HAS ENDED

Arranged by U.S. Embassy and in 2 which attendants communicated only by English language, the tolerance camp in Çanankkale ended. Held in Çanakkale College, 19 Turkish, 10 American, 15 Armenian student and 25 student from these three country gave a farewell party at the last night of the camp.

Establishing friendships during the camp, Turkish, Armenian and American students had souvenir photos taken and signed tee-shirts of each other. Unfurling Turkish and Armenian flags, students left the words of peace. Students visited historical and touristic centers such as Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park, Troy ancient city and Assos.

Hosting students for one month, School Director of Çanakkale College Mustaga Yetişti said that their school was chosen by U.S. embassy. He said, “Students established good relations by this camp. I believe that our children will carry peace, cooperation and friendship they learned here to whole World. At the final night of the tolerance camp, students unfurled Turkish and Armenian flags, and they left words of peace.”
