Within the frames of foreign policy principle of “zero problems with neighbouring countries,” young Turkish diplomats will learn Greek and Armenian language.
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu gave instruction for young diplomats to learn Armenian, Greek, Bulgarian, Arabian and Russian languages in the frames of the “zero problems with neighbouring countries” foreign policy principle.
Diplomats should be volunteer for learning the languages of neighbouring countries. Young diplomats who are found appropriate for learning languages of neighbouring countries will be sent target countries for language learning. But as Turkey does not have diplomatic relations with Armenia, diplomats will be sent to another country for learning Armenian language. Diplomats will be just responsible for learning the target language successfully during the time they will be abroad.
It is stated that about 30 diplomats are chosed for language education.
