Following the path of Armenia, now Bulgaria claims that Ottomans committed a genocide against theirselves. Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov finds the idea of ultra-nationalist ATAKA political party about determination of a day of anniversary for the Bulgarians who died as a result of “Bulgarian genocide” that is allegedly committed by Ottomans. Making a statement to a website Borisov said, “Personally, i believe that a genocide committed against Bulgarians and i would support announcement of a day of anniversary for remembering victims of Bulgarian genocide.”Ultra-nationalist Bulgarian party ATAKA had suggested at its first session on July 14 that a resolution about so called genocide of Bulgarians by Ottoman Turks should be passed from the Parliament. For another suggestion of ATAKA, about removal of broadcasting of news in radio and televisions in Turkish language, Borisov said that the issue is needed to be discussed in Parliament. Other than that, ATAKA asks for the ban of education in Turkish language and recitation of azan in mosques by loud speakers.
