Lecturer at Ataturk University, Communication Faculty Journalism Department  M. Talat Uzunyaylali novelized atrocity of Armenians in and around Erzurum during World War One.

Using books of Turkish and Armenian writers as reference, Talat Uzunyaylali’s novel “Paylaşılamayan Topraklar” is published by Babıali Kultur Publishing House.

The novel tells the story of Seyidov and his friends who were murdered by Dashnak Armenians while they were carrying aid material to the people of Erzurum who were under the captivity of Armenians.

Stating that his novel includes a story of the brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan, author says, “It starts from the February of 1916. As Russian troopswere invadingErzurum, armed Dashnak Armenians entered Erzurum with Russians. Atrenik Pasha, national hero of Armenians is mentioned as a serious character in the novel. Dashnaks, who do not do anything else then slaughtering innocent people, have their place in the novel. And among Turkish heroes, there are Turkish military officers and citizens of Erzurum. This novel tells the atrocity of Armenians through these characters.”
