Azerbaijani officials questioned Azerbaijani citizens who voted for the representatives of Armenia in Eurovision song contest.
According to the report of BBC, Azerbaijani officials questioned 43 persons who voted for the representatives of Armenia during 2009 Eurovision song contest.
One of the people who were questioned said to BBC that they were accused of not being patriot and forming a security threat. On the other hand, Azerbaijani officials stated that 43 persons were only asked about the reasons of their actions.
Eurovision questioning by Azerbaijani officials happened 3 months after 2009 Eurovision is held. Representatives of Azerbaijan displayed a successful performance and finished the contest on third order, as representative of Turkey followed Azerbaijan at 4th order.
