TURKISH ORGANIZATIONS IN USA SENT KARABAKH LETTER TO OBAMA

In August 2009, Azerbaijani and Turkish organizations in the USA united and sent an appeal US president Barack Obama to provide intensity of attempts of the USA within the framework of fair and peaceful solving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The appeal says that “it is possible to achieve long-term and permanent stability in the region providing acknowledgement of territorial integrity of the region by the countries, returning refugees and forced migrants to their earths, openings boundaries, providing the safety of Azerbaijanis and Armenians, residing in the occupied territory, withdrawal of the Armenian army from Azerbaijani territory, as a result of solving the conflict by the peaceful way”.

An appeal was signed by all organizations of Azerbaijan and Turkey in America.

The Network of Azerbaijanis, residing in America (USAN), the Assembly of the Turkish and American Associations (ATAA), the Azerbaijani Embassy in America, the Federation of Turkish and American Associations, Network of Turks, living in America (USTN), the Cultural Center of Caucasus Jews (CCCJ), the Azerbaijani-Turkish-American Fund (ATAF) and others are among them.
