Ex-president of Armenia, leader of Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan accused Serzh Sargsyan of conceding Karabakh. Ex-president made this statement in Ijevan, APA reports quoting Armtoday.

Ter-Petrosyan visited Ijevan together with the representatives of Armenian National Congress. The aim of the visit was to meet with the relatives of “Haykakan Zhamanak” Chief Editor Nikol Pashinyan. Ijevan people welcomed the opposition leader with the slogan “Levon” President!.“

“They conceded the genocide and will concede Karabakh. Maybe they have already done it. The only way to prevent it is the resignation of Serzh Sargsyan. Everything has already changed. My return created a nation, a powerful and civil society and it is impossible to prevent it,” Ter-Petrosyan told journalists.

Former deputy prosecutor-general Gagik Jahangirian also accompanied the ex-president. He told the Radio Liberty that he looked forward to Ter-Petrosyan's returning.

“I expected this day. I do not regret anything. Together with the people we will go forward, toward the victory,” he said.

Gagik Jahangirian criticized Armenian law-enforcement bodies.

“Increase of the level of crimes shows that the law-enforcement bodies are not doing their work, but fulfill political orders,” he said.
