An Armenian lobbying organization in United States, sent a letter to U.S. Foreign Minister Hillary Clinton complaining about OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair Matthew Bryza. Chairman of Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Ken Hachikian sent a letter to Clinton stating that President Obama did not keep the promises he gave to Armenian community and complained that United States implements policies on Armenia as Turkey dictates.

ANCA Chairman Ken Hachikian sent a four-page letter to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, complaining that Bryza has repeatedly made inaccurate and counterproductive statements about Republic of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. Stating that Bryza is holding a pro-Azerbaijani policy, he said that Bryza is supporting Turkey’s denial policy against so called Armenian genocide since long time.

Criticizing Obama-Biden administration about not keeping their promise over recognition of so called Armenian genocide, Hachikian wrote that United States also paid support to the roadmap plan of Turkey and pressed Armenia for establishment of a joint ’historians committee’ by Turkey and Armenia to investigate 1915 events. Calling for attention that United States also decreased the amount of financial aid to Armenia, representative of Armenian diaspora in United States stated that U.S. has lost its capability of mediating between Turkey and Armenia. Ken Hachikian wrote,

“Today, seven months after the start of the Obama-Biden Administration, we are seriously concerned that this Administration has abdicated its responsibilities by effectively outsourcing our nation’s foreign policy with respect to Armenian issues to the Republic of Turkey, as every single policy dealing with Armenia has been made along the lines that Turkey has dictated, rather than along the sound principles of morality and democracy that you, President Obama and Vice President Biden unambiguously articulated during your presidential campaigns last year.”
