“We support Armenia-Turkey normalization without preconditions, but unfortunately the incumbent [Armenian] authorities hold different views though stating the contrary,” Coordinator of the Armenian National Congress Levon Zurabyan told journalists in Gyumri (Armenia), NEWS.am reported.

Zurabyan claimed that Armenian authorities agreed with Turkey over establishment of a joint commission of historians to study 1915 events. Criticizing Armenian officials over that, Zurabyan stated that policies of Armenian authorities form negative impact over international recognition of Armenian claims of genocide.

Calling for attention that Turkey and Armenia did not announce the details of “roadmap” agreement that is signed under the mediation of Switzerland on April 22, 2009, Zurabyan said, “There can be only one explanation to it” they beware of public opinion. For the first time in the history of independent Armenia concealment of agreed document is practiced.“
