Known with his sympathy to Turkey, co-chairman of Turkey group in U.S. House of Representatives, Robert Wexler called Turkish officials to accelerate the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia. Meeting with President Abdullah Gul, Wexler said, “If the process of dialogue is not continued the resolution about Armenian issue will probablybe carried to U.S. Congress again and this time it may pass.”

Wexler promised for working towards development of trade between Turkey and United States.
