JOURNALISTS TO INFORM TOURISTS ABOUT KARABAKH

Azerbaijani journalists will spread brochures that tells occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh by Armenia in the hostels in Alanya.

Azerbaijani journalists will spread brochures in hostels and business offices in Alanya and they will inform tourists about occupation of Azerbaijani land by Armenian forces.

Signing a brotherhood protocol with Alanya Journalists Society on June 20, co-chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament News Reporters Association, and Azer-Tac Agency Political News Service Director General Hayati Azizov held a joint press conference with Director of Alanya Journalists Society Ali Dim.

Stating that Turkish people suffered of occupation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azizov called for attention that we cannot tell this to World community. Azizov said that they prepared brochures in 5 languages to inform people about the events took place in Nagorno Karabakh. Azizov said, “We are planning to distribute these brochures to the tourists in Alanya towards informing world community about Armenian agression.” Stating that Head of Society of Journalists of Alanya, Ali Dim supports their initiative, Azizov stated that brochures will be distributed by the support of Alanya Journalist Society.

Azizov said that he distributed about 150 brochures himself for analysing view of tourists to the issue of Nagorno Karabakh and saw that most of the tourists do not have idea about the situation in Nagorno Karabakh.

On the other hand Director of Journalist Society of Alanya Ali Dim stated that they will distribute the brochures that are prepared by Azerbaijani News Reporters Association. Dim stated that municipality administrations and Alanya Touristic Enterprises Organization will contribute distribution of brochures.

The brochures that are prepared in Turkish, English, German, French and Russian languages tell that Azerbaijan, the first democratic republic of east was invaded by USSR in 1920. Azerbaijan regained its independence in 1991. Stressing that 20 percent of Azerbaijan is under Armenian occupation, brochures tell that Armenia is the only country that is responsible for that.
