Music diplomacy is added to the football diplomacy on the axis of Ankara-Yerevan. It is learnt that representatives of Armenia in Eurovision 2009 song contest Inga and Anush sisters will share the same stage with Hadise before the match between Turkish and Armenian national teams on October 14.
Music diplomacy is added among the initiatives towards developing political relations between Turkey and Armenia. As the date for the soccer game between Turkish and Armenian national teams, it is learnt that representatives of Armenia in Eurovision 2009 song contest Inga and Anush Arshakyan sisters will share the same stage Hadise before the match. Hadise and Armenian colleagues will leave the messages of peace together. President Abdullah Gul had watched the soccer game between Turkish and Armenian national teams together with Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan last year and the process of rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia is called “football diplomacy.”
25 countries competed in 54th Eurovision Song Contest, in which Turkish representative Hadise ranked fourth, while representatives of Armenia, Inga and Anush sisters ranked tenth with their song “Jan Jan.”
