Director of Religious Affairs Ali Bardakoglu met with religious leaders of minorities at iftar meal. Assyrian, Catholic, Hebrew and Armenian representatives attended to the fast-breaking meal that is hosted by Department of Religious Affairs.
Representatives from Armenian Patriarchate, representatives from Istanbul Greek Patriarchate, Chief Rabbi of Turkish Jews Isak Haleva, Archpriest Zakeos Ohanyan, Assyrian Metropolitan Bishop Yusuf Cetin, Assyrian Catholic Deputy Patriarch Yusuf Sag and several other guests attended to the fast-breaking meal.
Making a speech following the dinner, Director of Religious Affairs Ali Bardakoglu stated that the holy month Ramadan is blessed and auspicius for whole Muslims. He stated that he is happy to see representatives from different religions at the same table.
