OSCE MG CO-CHAIRS WELCOME TURKISH-ARMENIAN AGREEMENT

OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs “U.S. and France welcomed the decision made by Turkey and Armenia to develop bilateral relations and to establish diplomatic ties, APA reported quoting RIA- Novosty.

The  U. S. State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said they welcomed the joint statement. “The normalization should take place without preconditions and within a reasonable timeframe. We urge Armenia and Turkey to proceed expeditiously,” said Kelly.

French government congratulated Turkey and Armenia on their joint statement. President Nicolas Sarkozy said normalization of the relations between Turkey and Armenian would make serious contribution to the stability in the region.
