Tbilisi sent strong messages to Russia again. According to APA, deputy chairman of the Georgian parliament's foreign relations committee Georgy Kandelaki blamed Russia in drawing Armenia into activity against Georgia. «Russia increases pressure to put Armenia against us». Kandelaki said Armenian president Serj Sargsyan proposed to give regional status to Armenian language in Samstskhe-Javakhetia region of Georgia. «Georgia makes Armenians to be integrated in the country’s social life, but Russia could use Javakhetia to violate stability in the region».

On Wednesday, Armenian president recommended to Georgia to give regional status to Armenian language, to register Armenian Apostolic Church and to protect Armenian monuments in Georgia.

Vice Prime Minister and state minister for reintegration of Georgia Temur Jakobashvili called on Armenian president to develop Armenian language in own country. «Let Sargsyan to develop Armenian language in Armenia. We are happy that Armenian is only national language in Armenia. Georgia is a democratic country and protects rights of all ethnic minorities, including Armenians».
