Management Board of Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) issued a statement on the protocols agreed between Turkey and Armenia, the party's press service told APA. ADP shares the concern of the public and calls to take into account the positive features of the protocols.

“Establishment of Turkey-Armenia relations as envisaged in these protocols may help increase the role of Turkey in the South Caucasus, weaken Russia's influence in Armenia, eliminate the conflicts in the South Caucasus, especially Armenia's aggressive policy against Azerbaijan.”

ADP considers that Turkey's policy of rapprochement with Armenia will result in the release of the occupied Azerbaijani territories.

Demolition of mosques in the capital was discussed and condemned at the meeting.

“ADP members state that such approaches contradict divine and society rules, call on the Caucasian Muslims Office to assess the problem and make efforts to prevent such actions.”
