Turkey’s ambassador to Baku Hulusi Kilic stated that it is not possible to mention that the process of rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia may harm Azerbaijan.

Stating that the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia cannot be mentioned as a process that may harm Azerbaijan, Turkey’s ambassador to Baku said, “We believe that this process will contribute the process of resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh problem.”

Speaking to local ANS television, Kilic touched the recent developments in the relations between Turkey and Armenia. Kilic stated that the process of rapprochement between two countries may accelerate the process of resolution of the dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno Karabakh.

Stating that they are towards establishment of peace in the region, Kilic said, “Azerbaijan should trust Turkey. We are always towards peace and stability in the region. We want to quench the fire totally. We want everyone in the region to benefit from prosperity.”

Stating that Turkey does not want closed borders to remain in the borders, Kilic stated that the situation in Caucasus can change only by this way and that everyone should cooperate for problems to be solved.
